Feast Your Eyes on Marni for H&M in Vogue Russia

Images via www.robertwyatt.net and Fashionista

Though only one image from the Sofia Coppola-directed ad campaign for the Marni x H&M capsule has been released to the collab-hungry public thus far, the eagle-eyed team over at Fashionista spotted this Vogue Russia editorial. The spread, shot by Robert Wyatt, features loads of product from the line, including bright polka dots, chunky accessories, and that patterned blouse from the ad campaign. Here's hoping this will tide us all over until February 8, when the ads are supposed to drop. Though, of course, that still leaves a full month until the product will actually be hitting stores...

David Beckham's Friends Will Definitely Make Fun of Him for This

We can only imagine the locker room jokes this is going to inspire. David Beckham's commercial for his "bodywear" line at H&M, which was supposed to debut during Sunday's Superbowl, has been released early. Totally unsurprisingly, it's basically 30 seconds of Becks practicing his best James Bond eye-cock while looking incredibly sexy in some tiny white underwear, with a few gratuitous shots of his tattoos and one (almost) of his groin. Not that we're complaining. The collection arrives on February 2.

"Chanel Teases Bleu Illusion Nail Polish"

Those lucky few who caught Chanel's show at Paris Fashion Week (it was inside a freaking airplane) got a glimpse of their next destined-to-be-a-breakout nail color: Bleu Illusion. The marbled pale blue 2012_01_chanel-bleu-illusion-polish.jpgmixed with white will be released in July, which makes perfect sense considering their three latest colors are named April, May, and June. Does this mean Chanel is getting into the nail art business? Holy Karl!

SAG Awards Update: E!

SAG Awards: Did The Help Sink The Artist's Oscar Chances—and What Happened to George Clooney?

Now things are getting interesting.
The positively glowing cast of The Help won for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Motion Picture at the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, an eleventh-hour shakeup as the Academy Awards grow ever nearer.
But that's not all!
Though the largely silent but emotive cast of The Artist missed out on the night's top honor, French thesp Jean Dujardin won for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role, a role that was expected to be played tonight (and Oscar night) by recent Golden Globe winner George Clooney.
"My God, my God, my God, my God," the charming actor stammered at first. "It's too much. I was a very bad student. I didn't listen in class, I was always dreaming. My teachers called me, 'Jean de la Lune, Jean of the Moon,' and I realize now that I never stopped dreaming. Thank you very much, thank you for this dream."
The Oscar race for Best Actress also veered back in Viola Davis' direction, a winner tonight over Meryl Streep for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role.
The star of The Help also spoke on behalf of the cast when they closed the show, calling the film—an adaptation of a beloved bestseller, no less—a "labor of love" for all involved.
