Khloe has been amazing with her new gig. The reality star is no novice to working in radio — she hosted “Khloe
After Dark” during her 2009 stay in Florida for “Kourtney & Khloe
Take Miami.”
She blogs,
"Hi dolls! I have been having soooooooo much fun with my new Dallas radio gig, The Mix Up with Khloe Kardashian Odom!
The people I work with are amazing and I get so excited every day to go
in to the studio. Thank you to everyone who has been tuning in, and for
those of you who don’t live in Dallas, you can listen to the podcast on
the Mix 102.9 website.
Here are a few cute pics from the studio and don’t forget to tune in weekdays from 12-1pm for my show on Mix 102.9! You can also download the iHeartRadio app and listen to the podcast on your phone! xoxoxo"
Recent fun on iHeartRadio with Khloe, Kris, and her brother Rob Kardashain:
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Fans of the Kardashian reality
television shows should have felt right at home Wednesday as Khloe’s
radio show started out with three family members talking over each
other. Rob phoned in to talk with his sister for the second time in
three days – he called on Monday as well – and mother Kris Jenner was
still in the studio as she
has been all week.
The trio first touched on Tuesday’s interview with “The Bachelor”
host Chris Harrison and Khloe suggesting that Rob be a contestant on the
ABC dating show. Harrison and Jenner both agreed that Rob was too young
for the show and not ready to commit. Jenner added on Wednesday that
men should not get married until age 36, what she called “the magical
age.”
But Khloe and Rob pushed the topic, leading Jenner to reject the idea
as both his mother and his manager. So, don’t expect to see Rob on “The
Bachelor” anytime soon, despite a good effort from Khloe.
All this talk of Rob participating in reality shows led the group to
“Dancing with the Stars,” where Rob recently competed – and came in
second place. Rob was quick to tell his mom and sister, “I don’t dance
anymore!”
Rob did visit Khloe in Dallas last month, and the two were
photographed at the Fort Worth Stockyards, but evidently they skipped
over Billy Bob’s Texas. Khloe asked Rob to go line dancing, but he was
not keen on the idea. “That’s like tribal dancing,” he said. “You’ve got
to be born with it.”
This time it was Khloe and her mom pushing the topic, but Rob ended
all the dance talk by stating, “I’m not comfortable with dancing just
because I did ‘Dancing with the Stars.’” He was being honest, but Khloe
was getting discouraged with her brother.
Jenner suggested that the siblings talk about Rob’s passion –
fashion. He is developing a line of dress socks and is still looking for
a company name. Listeners were encouraged to submit suggestions online, with rules that the name be fun and unique, but having nothing to do with the Kardashian name.
But somewhere along the way, Khloe lost all patience with her
brother. “You are probably the worst guest I ever could have,” she said
plainly. “You are the worst interview. You talk over everyone. I want to
assassinate you.”
“He just ruined my first week of radio,” Khloe told her mother.
Khloe recently moved to North Texas when basketball player husband
Lamar Odom was traded from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Dallas
Mavericks. She (and her family) can be seen in several reality shows on
the E! Network. Khloe hosts “The Mix Up” on Mix 102.9 in Dallas, an
hour-long radio show featuring celebrity interviews and questions from
callers.
Callers on Wednesday asked if Khloe messes with the paparazzi – she
does – and if she is still trying to have a child. “We’re just kind of
letting it take its course,” Khloe said. “We’re really enjoying trying
and seeing what happens.”
